Once again, the clever children of the Bean Shed Productions have been working hard and the latest performance is the tale on the seven seas, “A Pirate’s Tale”.
The performance includes pirate adventure, a bit of Gilbert and Sullivan and lots of singing and dancing.
Set on a pirate ship floating aimlessly somewhere in the South Pacific, the pirates are enjoying the lifestyle, but are a bit worried by the captain and his love for Gilbert and Sullivan musicals and his desire to be “pirates who don’t do anything”.
The captain also has a desire to “clean up” his crew. At this point the Union Officials step in and impounds the ship, “The Jolly Eddy”. They turn out to be pirates in disguise and make off with the Captain!!!
The pirates then have to learn how to sail The Jolly Eddy and learn how to be real pirates.
The Union Officials who are really pirates, discover that the Captain is a woman and so no longer want her.
Play times are: Thursday 10.30 am, Friday 10.30 am, Saturday 6. 00 pm and Sunday 11.00 am, at the Jack Sherwin Memorial Hall, Canowindra High School.
Cost is just a gold coin donation.
