Australia Day award triple

The community of Canowindra celebrated three new recipients of its prestigious annual Citizen of the Year awards this Australia Day.

Miriam (Mim) Loomes, Molly Clements and the Canowindra Hospital Auxiliary were presented with their awards by Member for Dubbo Troy Grant, at an evening ceremony in Memorial Park.

They joined many others across Cabonne Shire recognised for their contribution to their community, including Citizen of the Year Cudal Mary Chase; Young Citizen of the Year Cudal Alice Hazleton; Citizen of the Year Borenore/Nashdale Margot Davidson; Citizen of the Year Cargo Peter Seale; Citizen of the Year Eugowra Greg Agustin and Community Group of the Year Eugowra, the Eugowra League Tag Team.
