Local musician Nerida Cuddy is attempting to round up all who love poetry and accoustic music – both listeners and performers – by holding regular open mike session monthly at taste Canowindra.
The first for this year will be held on Sunday March 29 at 3.30pm.
Nerida has hosted numerous sessions like these in Broken Hill and Ballarat, as well as the inaugural Canowindra session in November last year.
“It’s a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon – relaxing and sharing songs and poems”, says Nerida.
“You learn a lot about a person by hearing something they’ve either chosen or composed, and it’s a great opportunity to share these things together.
“The session in November was well-attended, and even the kids had a great time playing outside”.
Cuppas and cake are available for sale; being at the session is free.
