Country Energy’s regional senior management team travelled to Canowindra this week as part of a new initiative to hold monthly meetings in different towns throughout the Central West.
Country Energy regional general manager, Chas McPhail said the initiative provided the opportunity for the management team to see first hand what local crews were achieving.
“We are in touch with our crews on a daily basis, however the opportunity to catch up personally and see what work is being completed to benefit customers is invaluable.
“The Canowindra crew’s
performance is always outstanding with team members dedicated to ensuring a reliable supply of essential services to local customers at all hours of the day,” Chas said.
The meeting not only focussed on what local crews had achieved but also examined the Central Western region’s overall performance.
“Country Energy manages Australia’s largest power distribution network so it is important that we continue to monitor our progress to ensure we are meeting the expectations of our customers.
“This month’s meeting focussed on safety and environmental initiatives including a Drum Muster which is commencing in the region this week for the safe removal of chemicals and old equipment.
“Upcoming network additions and the region’s continuing maintenance program were also discussed, both of which will improve the reliability of essential services to local customers now and well into the future,” Chas said.
Central Western monthly management meetings will continue to be held at different locations throughout the year.
