Simplifying the Christmas message is one way of helping children understand what Christmas is all about, according to The Reverend Margaret Finlay.
This is one reason behind the children’s service being held at the Canowindra Uniting Church at 5.30pm on Christmas Eve.
“Many children haven’t had the experience of being in church and this is something simple that children can relate to,” she said.
The service will be simplified and feature the dramatisation of the Christmas story.
Rev Finlay said Christmas was a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus and rejoice with family and friends.
