Canowindra Preschool were selected in 2005 as the beneficiaries of Lawrence's IGA Community Chest.
Through members of the community shopping at Lawrence's IGA and purchasing items that are of the IGA brand then the Community Chest receives one cent.
Many community members also chose to donate their loyalty points from Lawrence's IGA to the Community Chest Program which came to a total of $2480.70, and was donated to the Canowindra Preschool.
The Hospital Ladies Auxiliary are the Beneficiaries for the Community Chest at Lawrence' IGA in 2006.
The Preschool wishes to thank Lawrence's IGA and the local community for their ongoing support and the money will be used for the necessary extensions that are currently
occurring at the Preschool.
