Local singer and song writer Nerida Cuddy will

create another first this Saturday when she records her next album live at taste Canowindra.

Not just a first for taste but also a first for Nerida. Nerida will be accompanied by Hannah Sunderland and Kate Bain.

Hannah is a talented emerging singer/songwriter who counts Bjork and Regina Spektor among her influences. Originally from Newcastle, Hannah has been living in Canowindra for the past two years.

Kate Bain has a long history of involvement with the NSW folk scene, an innovative and fun performer, Kate recently moved to Canowindra from Dubbo.

This is Nerida’s third album following the successful “Living Desert” and “Journal”.

When asked about a release date for the new album Nerida said “ It’ll be called “Crazy Beautiful World”.

“At this point it is impossible to say whether the live album or our third child will be released first! But they will definitely have a shared musical heritage!”

Another local talent Sophie Payten will do a solo set supported on guitar by brother, Jo.

Many of Canowindra locals have listened as Sophie’s voice has blossomed over the years to become that of an evocative and captivating vocalist.

Both Kate and Hannah will do short solo sets. In addition Kate will provide instrumentation and back up vocals for Nerida – joined at times by Sophie and Matt Miller.

Proceedings begin with wine tasting and nibbles at 7pm. An alternate drop main course, sweets & coffee will follow. The all inclusive price for the meal and show is $65. At time of going to press less than 20 meal & show tickets remain available. A small number of show only tickets are available at $20.
