Cabonne Council will hold a free barbecue at Canowindra Pool next week to mark the completion of the pool’s refurbished amenities block.
Canowindra Councillors Anthony Durkin and Kevin Walker will host the sausage sizzle from 4pm on Saturday 3 March 2012 and are inviting everyone in Canowindra to come along and inspect the $350,000 project.
And to encourage as many people as possible to attend, non-season ticket holders will be given free entry to the pool after 3.30pm.
“The free sausage sizzle is also Council’s way of thanking the people of Canowindra for being so patient because the building work was undertaken during the swimming season.”
