Eugowra Australia Day program

Celebrations for Australia Day in Eugowra will this year commence at a later starting time than has been the format in recent years.

The venue will be the Eugowra Community Bowls and Recreation Club and the program is as follows:

2.00pm- Commence with prayers

2.30pm - Raising of the flag at the Cenotaph by members of the Eugowra RSL Sub Branch

2.45pm - Presentation of awards- Eugowra’s Australia Day Ambassador Andrew Barnes will speak- launch and showing of the short film he has produced – a look at the lives of a number of local people

3.30pm - Afternoon tea (please bring a plate to share)

4.45pm Gather at the Mandagery Creek bridge for the cutting of the ribbon to mark the 70th anniversary of the opening of the bridge exactly 70 years ago- then move to the Central Hotel for drinks and nibbles
