HONORARY AMBULANCE MEETING
The Ambulance Service of NSW is committed to supporting the Honorary Ambulance Station in Eugowra, but need help.
Volunteers are urgently needed to ensure this important community service continues.
Jack Barnes, who is the only Honorary Ambulance Officer (HAO) at the moment and who lives out of town said faster response time is needed.
Mr. Barnes said he is getting on in years and said the need for younger HAO is eminent.
The NSW Ambulance supply a fully equipped Ambulance vehicle, training and uniforms. The planned new shed to house the Ambulance vehicle is to be built as part of the SES infrastructure in Noble Street.
There will be a community meeting at the Eugowra Hospital on Wednesday 15th February at 6-30pm with representatives of the Ambulance Service of NSW in attendance.

LICENCING OF THE REVEREND LESLIE LADLOW
St. Matthew's Anglican Church at Eugowra was filled to capacity on Sunday evening 5th February, for the licencing by the Assistant Bishop of Bathurst, The Right Reverend Peter Danahar, of the Reverend Leslie Ladlow as the Bishop's Deacon in the Parish of Eugowra.
The service commenced with the procession comprising Crucifer, Licenced Lay Ministers, Clergy, Churchwardens, Bishop's Deacon -designate, the Co-chairs of the Ministry District, Diocesan Archdeacon and the Assistant Bishop of Bathurst entering the Church to the singing of the hymn 'God is Here'.
The Diocesan Archdeacon, Rev. Samuel Marsden, presented Reverend Leslie Ladlow to the Assistant Bishop, The Right Reverend Peter Danahar to be
licenced.
Holy Eucharist followed the licencing, prior to the speeches of welcome to Reverend Ladlow by Councilor David Hyde, Father Terry Frewin of West Wyalong who spoke on behalf of the Ministry District and Dudley Weekes representing the Parish of Eugowra.
Licenced Lay Ministers, Elaine Cheney and Chrissie Little also participated in the service with Russell Thomas being the organist for this very special
occasion.
Following the very uplifting service, visitors and clergy from surrounding towns then joined with the locals in fellowship over a cuppa. Reverend Ladlow was ordained a Deacon by the Bishop of Bathurst, The Right Reverend Richard Hurford on 3rd December 2005 in All Saints Cathedral Bathurst.
