After years of work and waiting, the Canowindra Health Service proudly took possession of a new transport bus for its clients late last month., Canowindra Health Service manager Jacqui Hutton announced the arrival of the new (secondhand) bus, a Mazda T3500 this week, adding that the long awaited bus arrived on the evening of Thursday November 22., The bus is fitted with a wheelchair lift which will facilitate disabled access., “Our grateful thanks to the Rotary Club of Canowindra for their donations and assistance with inspection and delivery of the bus.”, Other donations have been received from Billican Productions, McSigns Pty Ltd, Orange, Canowindra Craft & Hobbies, Lions Club of Canowindra, Walkball clients, Day Centre/Day Hospital clients, the Hospital Staff Club and private donations., The Day Centre/Day Hospital clients have been working consistently towards this day for several years., Fundraising activities are continuing on this project., Photos of the bus will feature a later edition of the Canowindra News.
