IGA digs deep for Victorians

Individuals, families, businesses and communities have banded together to give to those affected by the bushfires last week.

Canowindra IGA, through their Community Chest program was just one of the businesses which has donated vouches for food.

IGA across Australia in total donated $1.5 million, of that Canowindra IGA donated $610.

IGA National Chairperson Michael Daly said IGA’s Community Chest program assists local communities 365 days of the year and we are proud to make this significant contribution.

“We understand they will have a long road ahead to rebuild their lives, but we wanted to do out bit to help in the interim.”
