A property owner in the Nangar National Park reported the theft of a large amount of equipment and tools stored in a shed on his property to Canowindra police on the weekend.
The theft is believed to have occurred sometime during the last three weeks, whilst the owner was away.
Amongst the stolen equipment and tools was an air compressor and a chainsaw. The equipment was stored in army trunks.
Police inquiries are continuing into the theft from the Eugowra Rd property and stress that all information received is treated confidentially.
Canowindra police were also involved in the arrest of a 19-year-old Moss Vale man, charged with Mid Range PCA, after an accident at Wyangala Dam on Saturday evening.
The man was the sole occupant of a vehicle, which hit a boulder on the foreshore of the dam.
He was later issued with a notice to appear before Cowra Local Court on January 9, 2002.
