Another successful “Biggest Morning Tea” has been run in Canowindra with approximately $867 raised by the local community.

Once again the Morning Tea was hosted by Janice Paul outside her business in the Main Street.

Janice has been doing this for the last 10 years and her generosity is much appreciated by the local Community Nurses who organise the morning.

Janice said, “I always enjoy these morning teas, its great to have so many people call in to have a cuppa with me!”

Community Nurse Carolyn Wythes presented Janice with a special Cancer Council teacup as a token of appreciation.

Carolyn said “The Community Nurses have contact with many clients and their families who are suffering with Cancer.

Organising the Biggest Morning Tea each year is one way we can show our support to them as well as raise money for research.”

Carolyn is grateful to all members of the community who supported the Biggest Morning Tea this year.
