New business Ruby Red Dress may be in contention for a 2009 Daroo Award. Business owner Donna Beath has years of experience under her belt and opened the shop six months ago.
“My girlfriend told me to just do it, and it is a passion of my. I am still really enjoying it.”
Ms Beath said leading up to Christmas they were “flat out” but things have quieted down now.
“I sort of expected it during February. This is the place to come for people who love fashion and don’t have a lot of money. All things are vintage or second hand and you will not see anyone else with the same clothing,” Ms Beath said.
Nominations close on Tuesday March 31 and they can be made at the Library, the Post Office and the Newsagency.
