The Mandagery Creek Bridge in the centre of town is undergoing a facelift with a new paint job being carried out by a number of community minded volunteers – most of whom are members of the Eugowra Promotion & Progress Association.
The bridge was constructed during the year of 1941, completed in December the same year and officially opened on Australia Day 1942.
It has been a number of years since the bridge last received a coat of paint, and it seems appropriate that with its 70th birthday approaching it is a good time for a spruce up, with the same green and cream colours.
The long awaited Eugowra map/information board for the Pioneer/Apex Park was recently constructed by two more volunteers- David Hyde and John Den. After a lengthy wait of about 15 years it is pleasing to see that it is finally under way and just needs the map, information and photos to be added.
