Cabonne Council is introducing a Volunteer of the Month Award from January 2009 and is calling for nominations.
In nominating a volunteer, Council will consider such things as length of volunteering, volunteering across different areas, commitment to volunteering and rising above personal or special challenges to achieve volunteering goals.
Council’s Mayor, Kevin Duffy, said “everyone knows a volunteer in their community who goes ‘above and beyond’ to help. This newly created award will acknowledge a volunteers’ contribution and say thanks for their dedication.”
Nomination forms can be obtained online at www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au or at any Council office and should be lodged to the General Manager by post to PO Box 17 Molong 2866 faxed to (02) 6392 3260 or emailed to council@cabonne.nsw.gov.au
