Eugowra and Canowindra might have been on flood watch throughout the weekend, but the swollen Belubula River thankfully remained relatively well behaved.
According to official flood reports, the Belubula at Canowindra peaked near 5.2 metres around 3am Friday morning and fell slowly with only moderate flooding.
At 3.30pm the height of the Belubula River was 4.8 metres.
Initially the flood watch was for Orange and Molong, however, as rainfall totals failed to deliver in those areas, the State Emergency Service shifted its focus south and west.
Flood watch notices were put in place for both the Mandagery Creek and Belubula River, and Canowindra and Eugowra residents were advised to monitor Bureau of Meteorology forecasts.
However, neither caused any major danger, with only low lying land inundated.
Information on the weather in the catchment of the Belubula River can be obtained from the Bureau of Meteorology website www.bom.gov.au alternatively you may phone 1300 659 218.
