Preschoolers take part in exhibition at River Bank

26 Oct, 2011 08:53 AM
The Canowindra Preschool would like to acknowledge and thank The River Bank Gallery for allowing the school to join in their recent “Talls” Exhibition. The Preschool Children participated in the Small People’s Talls.

Director Lana Brown said: “It was a chance for the children in our Preschool to visit the Gallery and gain a better understanding and appreciation for art in painted form and participate in the experience also.”

Mrs Brown also commented: “Each Child painted their own self portrait and this was displayed at the Gallery for the duration of the “Talls” exhibition,” she said.

“We also had a People’s Choice award for the artwork that gained the most public votes.

“We are pleased to announce that Lachlan Sunderland was the winner of this with 37 votes.”

The Preschool would like to thank all the families and community members that went along to the Gallery to view the children’s works and who supported this event for the Preschool.
