The Canowindra Skate Park Fundraising committee has unveiled its winning design that will take pride of place on special supporter t-shirts.
From a start of 50 entries, the judging committee narrowed down the contenders to a final three, then gave the designers a chance to refine the design.
Year 11 Canowindra High school student Karina Bennett's design was the ultimate choice and will feature on the t-shirts that aim to have several functions - to rally community support behind the project, to acknowledge and thank those businesses who are committed to helping and to raise funds from t-shirt sales.
Mark Edwards, spokesperson for the committee, said cost and ordering details for the t-shirts will be presented at a meeting tonight at the Canowindra Golf Club, starting from 6.30pm.
He also reminded businesses and people that its not too late to become involved in the t-shirt campaign and project, if they want to add their name to the list of supporting businesses that will feature on the back of the shirts.
The winner of a raffle featuring garden tools will also be drawn this afternoon.
All are welcome to attend the meeting tonight.
