Country Energy have recognised a trio of Country Energy workers for their thirty years combined service.
Area manager, Allan Rice congratulated long term Canowindra employees at the Country Energy Canowindra Field Service Centre recently.

Three employees, who attained 10 and 20 years of service, were acknowledged, congratulated and thanked for their dedicated service and presented with a framed certificate and gift of appreciation.
Allan said he was proud to be working alongside local people who had given so much to the company and the industry.
“The Service Milestone Awards are our way of saying thank you and recognising the experience, diversity and depth that our employees bring to the workplace and to Country Energy’s skill base,” Terry said.
“Their wealth of skill and knowledge is transferred to others around them and this is evidenced by the strength of our network and the service levels we provide to the 1,500 plus communities across New South Wales we live and work in.
“Our employees are the backbone of our business and are instrumental in our continued growth and development in strengthening regional areas” Allan said.
Live lineworker, Les Ellis was acknowledged for 10 years service to Country Energy.
Les said the best things about working for Country Energy are the opportunities to work in the local area and the training.
“I have been fortunate to work in the local community of Canowindra for the whole 10 years” Les said.
“I started working for Country Energy as an apprentice lineworker in Canowindra. When I finished that training I worked as a lineworker and then trained to be a live lineworker. Being offered the opportunity to complete the live lineworker certificate was the best thing I ever did.
“It’s great being able to help people, particularly during storm season when the unpredictable weather can affect the network.”
