Silverchair, The Midnight Juggernauts, Behind Crimson Eyes, Flatline Drama, Leap of Faith along with the Funktrust will be the incredible line up for the 2007 Cowra One Night Stand.
The concert will be held on Friday 20th April with gates opening from 3.30pm and the first band kicking off at 5pm.
Cowra, with a population of 9,500 people, came together to get the submission in on time and in perfect condition to have the chance to have this free concert at home. Cowra's Mayor, council, community groups, individuals and the youth helped to make the Triple J One Night Stand possible.
Cowra has continued to work together since winning the competition - there have been some very detailed operations that have gone into place to ensure that the concert runs smoothly and everyone has an unbelievable time.
"The organising of this massive event has been very extensive, Council and the community have been extremely involved and enthusiastic towards the organisation of the concert. This will be one of the hugest events that Cowra has hosted; it will benefit the town economically and socially and Cowra is ready to Rock!" says committee member Rachel Ferguson.
Cowra has been preparing in other ways to welcome the estimated crowd of 15,000 people such as painting the town red, black and white and also having a main street market day the Saturday after the concert. The shops will be operating later hours with entertainment in the main street on Friday and Saturday.
Cowra is ready to welcome Silverchair, The Midnight Juggernauts, Behind Crimson Eyes, The Funktrust, Flatline Drama and Leap of Faith. This concert has been something that Cowra deserves the community is really ready to Rock!
