04 Aug 10 | On what started out to be a beautiful day last Sunday the weather Gods soon made there presence felt to turn a nice sunny day into a cold wet windy miserable day.
We started out with a good field of 24 starters only to have it reduced to 15 after 9 holes.

With the result of the game not going to change either teams position on the table the Canowindra team showed it most on the field.

As the parents stood on the side lines in freezing cold rainy weather the under 8s were led onto the field by this week’s captain Savannah Trainor.
Unlike the parents they were all full of excitement to be playing in their first real wet game of the season.

climatic changes, sickness and a general lack of time on the paddock.
It was always going to be a tough game!
Many of the team started a little sleepy after an exhausting game the previous week but Jo, Hayley and Jack worked solidly to keep pushing the ball through to the forwards finally being rewarded when Lachie pushed one in.

On the best weather day that we have had for a long while last Sunday we played for the Cowra Pro Shop trophy sponsored by Steve Cain.
With a good field of 28 players the scores were really hot.
28 Jul 10 | This Sunday the Tigers return home in all three grades. The club will be hosting ladies day, with all ladies attending the ground receiving complimentary drinks in the marquee lounge.

This trophy was sponsored by Eddie and Connie Wilkinson.
Eddie was there to present a terrific array of trophies and we would like to thank Eddie and Connie for the great support they have shown to our club.
21 Jul 10 | Canowindra Tigers have kept their undefeated home record in tact with a convincing 48-36 victory against the Peak Hill Roosters.
The Tigers were never headed as they piled on eight tries. Led by Brian Moss and Kepu Nathan, the forward pack dominated the day.
