The first grade cricket boys were unlucky at the weekend to go down by 20 in a hard fought match.
With Townhouse’s main men Ross Graham and Dave Howarth getting the majority of the runs we knew it was going to be hard to chase down the runs.
We had a slow but good start with both openers scoring good runs and also Tim getting 41 and finally Mathew Skat O’Malveney showing good form getting 30.
Finally you get a bat old Veney.
But in the end we went down swinging and just short.
This week we play Valley’s at Cowra which will be a good match as we both need the victory.
I’d like to also congratulate Troy, Ian and Tim on making the Cowra side. It’s good to see our boys playing red cricket.
