It can finally be said without fear of failure that P.& A Dawes Under 12 cricket team has gone through the season,UNDEFEATED, as they defeated Bowling Club by four wickets in the final at Raudonikis on Saturday. Hooray!!!

Canowindra won the toss and once again Rohan Toole sent the opposition in and Bowling Club opened with Zak Webster and Ben Wilkinson.

Zak and Ben coped with the opening bowling well as they compiled 12 runs off the opening 5 overs before Zak skied a ball to Bradyn Cassidy.

Bradyn just missed the catch but quickly fired the ball back to keeper Alex Willson who ran out Zak with the score on 13.

Kuyan Pitt joined Ben at the crease and assisted Ben in adding seven more runs before he misjudged a Cassidy delivery and was bowled with the score on 20.

Bede Leyland made a brief appearance at the wicket before he departed bowled by Tim Middleton, but his impact was to come.

Ben Wilkinson retired on 13 which left Luke Chalker and Ben Watt at the wicket where they combined well as Ben hit two fours before he hit the ball straight back to the Bailey Cain for a regulation caught and bowled and the score was 4-34.

Younger brother Nick Wilkinson joined Chalker settled in and scored with deft strokes as the total climbed to 52.

On 8 Nick was deceived by a wicked delivery from Harry Whatman and was bowled around his legs with the score on 5-52.
