Canowindra Red Backs may not have made it to the Grand final but come away with two major awards on Sunday in Bathurst. Mel McLean was presented with the Best and Fairest award and Taryn Ashton was also presented with the highest goal scorer for the year with a whopping 35 goals for the season.
Melissa was next with 21 goals for the season both girls are to be congratulated on the achievements
Red backs also received a team award for the 2006 competition.
