In a delightful mother-daughter display Jennifer Holmes improved an amazing eight seconds in her 66 metres freestyle swim while her mother Rossanne Holmes took five seconds off her 66 metres freestyle time.
Finishing off the Hughes family trifecta were Brydon who took five seconds off his 66 metres freestyle while middle brother Curtis lowered his 66 metres freestyle mark by six seconds.
Tim Wythes showed a competitive spirit as he swam his 66 metres freestyle five seconds quicker while Sarncha Smith lessened her time by four seconds over the same distance.
Wallace Stranger cut his 66 metres freestyle time by three seconds while Casey Edwards took the scalpel to her time and removed four seconds.
As usual the finale of the night is the relay with six teams of six swimmers screaming for their team-mates to swim faster.
After a couple of disqualifications for over enthusiastic starting, the winners came from lane one as Josh Flannery, Kate Beath (the rose amongst the thorns), Jake Wythes, Rohan Toole, Bailey Cain and Wallace Stranger combined for the fastest time.
This week we will again be swimming 33 metres in all four strokes with 66 metres freestyle and 66 metres back stroke, breast stroke and butterfly, but please specify which "B" you want to swim.
