The winners were Paul Codner and Ned Grant, second place went to Doug Flannery and Ned Grant and third was Chris Kinsela and Michael Flannery.

On Sunday it was the Kearns Memorial Family Fun Day. 54 players competed in this event in rather hot conditions but everyone had a great time.

In the non-golfer section the winner of the juniors was Taylor Bye, second was Jason Bye, third was Natalie Hare and fourth was Jodie Hare.

The ladies winner was Debbie Flannery and runner up was Tracey Loomes.

The Bradman’s winner was Sue Hare.

The men’s winner was Baden Peisley and runner up was Ben Kearns.

The nine hole winner was Clare Kearns and runner up was Julie Fairley.

The Bradman winner was Marea Agustin and the men’s winner was Stuart Scott and runner up was Karl Maere.

The Golf Club would like to thank the Kearns Family for their sponsorship. It was a great family day with jumping castle, barbeque and lots of refreshments.

Next Sunday it is the October Monthly Medal sponsored by Dan and Tony Ebert.

On Monday November 5 the Melbourne Cup Calcutta will be on so if you would like to be in the running to buy or sell a horse the tickets are now available at the Club.

$10 a ticket and the minimum prize is first $1200, second $500, third $200, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh $50.

Horses will be drawn at 7.00pm and the auction will start at 8.00pm.

If you would like one of our Club Shirts put your order in at the bar. They are available from small to XXXKL with or without pocket.

There are shirts at the Club to try on for size.

Come and join us on Monday afternoon between 5.00pm and 6.00pm and enjoy a schooner or middy of beer for only $2 or on Friday between 5.00pm and 6.00pm and receive a $1 discount and all drink-in prices.

Also you may be lucky enough to win the Midweek Members Draw which is up to $400 this week and is drawn between 5.30pm and 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

On Saturday night there are raffles and the members draw is $800 plus the second chance draw is $140.
