Last Sunday we played a 18 hole stableford event for the Synercon trophy.

This trophy was sponsored by Eddie and Connie Wilkinson.

Eddie was there to present a terrific array of trophies and we would like to thank Eddie and Connie for the great support they have shown to our club.

First place on Sunday went to the evergreen John Jones who scored a great round of 38 points.

Second place on a countback went to Dan Ebert also with 38 points and 3rd place was taken by Mat Mclean who also scored 38 points.

Next week there will be a 18 hole stroke event for the July monthly medal and also the events sponsor will be Steve Cain from the Cowra Pro Shop.

A big thanks goes to Pam Mathews who answered the SOS call and did the barbecue for us at dinner time.

For all the golfers involved in the matchplay events could you please get these games underway so that we don’t have to enforce time restrictions to have these matches completed.

No new reports from our friendly neighbours the Bowly last week.

The only thing of note was that Strawb had to do the Bowls report last week.

This was probably some sort of punishment for allegedly leaking information to us. Once again Luigi has gone underground again probably got the news back from his two spies that were dealt with so well by Mick and his gang. News has it that Mick has signed up Bordo as his eyes around town checking on Luigi’s men.
