The Charlie Muddle Memorial will headline harness racing at Cowra Racecourse on Saturday.
Charlie's family - who own local business in Cowra - sponsor the race and they will be on hand for the presentation.
A well-supported program of local horses are expected to take part in the meet.
Saturday's racing is expected to feature full fields with the number of races to be decided after nominations closed yesterday evening.
Cowra Harness Racing Club secretary Joedy Lee said she was thankful for the support of local sponsorship that keeps the club going.
"We're grateful for all the support from local businesses we receive which keeps the club up-and-running," Lee said.
This also includes a group of Grenfell businesspeople who have got together to support the club.
IGA, NSW Country Removal and Storage and well-known harness racing owner Clive Anderson are amongst these supporters.
Mbecca Produce have donated a great barbecue to be raffled and drawn on the day.
Lee added she hoped the local community would come out and support the harness racing fraternity in much the same way they did for the heats of the Jack Honan Memorial three weeks ago.
Full bar and interstate tote facilities will be available for interested punters.
Gates will open on Saturday at around 11am.
