For six years I wrote articles in the paper and never let anyone know who wrote them.
Six months into the bowls report and somehow the paparazzi have discovered the author.
I don’t know who the informer is but I do have my suspicions - the culprit will pay - there might not be many horses left in town but I do know a lady that works at the dairy and in these hard times we all have to make do.
You might say “What’s wrong with your name on the report?”
Well I'll tell you what’s wrong with that, for one I have a very heavy work load and have no time for fan mail.
Secondly, I do mention names such as Ken, Terry, Duncan, a certain councilor etc etc... and for the past week I have been receiving little parcels which I've been told not to open.
While I'm in the mood you even put my picture in the paper, you could have warned me, I could have at least brushed my hair.
The only consolation being I was standing next to Peter which made me look good (oooops there goes another parcel).
While I'm on a roll, last week’s 2010 winners should have been 2009 winners and I can’t believe that you all thought I made a mistake, that's ridiculous, now I can’t blame my wife because she types this so the logical blame falls on the paparazzi or journalist or whatever you want to call them.

Now that I've got that off my chest we are having a triples bowls day sponsored by Ron Lynch & Ken Fisher.
First prize $150.
Second prize $60.
Two games, 15 ends in the morning & 12 ends in the afternoon, $15 a head that includes chinese for lunch & High Tea & a block of flats in Tasmania if you can win both games by 16 ends. As this is the first for Chinese lunch I would like to see as many as possible on the green (especially the ladies, they really make the day a success). If you have't a team please ring the club & I will personally fit you into one.
Last but not least, six more sponsors to have their 15 minutes of fame, Earsmans Concrete, Vinnies Upholstery, Junction Hotel, Canowindra Bottle Shop, Canowindra Motors, Kens Service Centre & C R & S J Worboys.
Thankyou to all sponsors & a special thankyou to Ron Lynch & Ian Messenger for those raffles & getting Taylors Bowls to come up with the goods.
Have a great weekend
