Three games of social bowls were played, one triples and two pairs.

Bobby Turner, Ellen Petty and Nancy Morrow defeated Linda Miller, Marianne Beath and Libby Balcombe.

Rose Veal and Christine Pickard defeated Sandy McDonald and Dianne Mooney.

Margaret Gosper and Deanna Noble defeated Joy Beattie and Moyna Rue.

The Lucky Draw was won by Sandy McDonald.

After bowls we enjoyed a tasty lunch at the Bowling Club Chinese Restaurant to celebrate the November birthdays of Moyna Rue on November 26, Colleen Crump on November 27 and the December birthday of Betty Hodge on December 2, Christine Pickard on December 14 and Margaret Gosper on December 18.

Unfortunately Betty was unable to attend for her very special birthday 70 years, she now joins the Veterans in our Club.

Happy birthday to you all.

It was great to have President Betty Jenkins join us for the luncheon.

She was released from the Bathurst Private Hospital last Friday after successfully undergoing hip surgery on November 17.

Our sincere sympathy is extended to Sheryn O’Malveney on the recent death of her fathers.

This will be my last bowls report for 2009.
