March 17 – Canowindra were defeated by Cowra White 47 shots to 35 overall. Each team winning 1 rink and losing 1 rink.

March 19 – Cowra Blue defeated Canowindra at Cowra 44 shots to 35 overall. Again each team winning 1 rink and losing 1 rink.

On Tuesday, march 31 we play Cowra Blue in the Pennants at Home and Forbes at Forbes on Thursday, April 2, which will complete our No. 3 Pennant matches.

Last Tuesday we had 7 social bowlers on the green as well as our 8 Pennant players.

The Lucky Draws were won by Joice McNaught and Shirley Flint (Cowra).

Sheryn Fisher, Faye Beddie and Betty Hodge represented our club at Newstead President’s Day last Thursday and they reported a very enjoyable day.

Betty and Faye both winning spider prizes.

A special welcome to Gwen Earsman who has rejoined as a bowling member.

Bobbie Turner, Sheryn Fisher and Deanna Noble will be attending Manildra President’s Day on Wednesday, April 1.

A date for your diaries bowlers, our club will be hosting a Mini Carnival Day on Saturday, May 9, more details on this later.
