Monday December 8 – Betty Hodge defeated Daph Bryant 150 to 110 in a Consistency semi final.

Tuesday December 9 – Colleen Crump defeated Betty Hodge in a Dot Traves Rose Bowl semi final, Colleen outplayed Betty in this match.

Wednesday December 10 – Shirley Robson was the winner of the Dot Traves Rose Bowl Handicap Singles final defeating Colleen Crump 31 to 29 in a marathon of thirty-eight ends.

Great bowls was played by both ladies.

Thank you to the three markers Di Dawes, Daph Bryant and Moyna Rue.

The consistency final between Betty Hodge and Colleen Crump is sent down to be played on Tuesday December 16.

All competitions for 2008 will then be completed.

There were two rinks of social bowls played last Tuesday. Bobby Turner won the lucky draw and Colleen Crump the points score for October, November and December.

Our sincere thanks to David Beath for his cooperation in always having the green ready for us.

Our sympathy is extended to Gwen and Col Haydon and families on the recent death of Col’s sister Shirley.
