31 Oct, 2007 02:00 PM
We had a good roll up today girls and some of our Club matches were played.

In the Club Singles Gwen Haydon played Libby Balcombe; in this match Gwen came out the winner.

In the Handicap Pairs match Christine Pickard and Joyce McNaught played Daphne Bryant and Betty Hodge.

Bryant and Hodge were the eventual winners.

A Consistency match between Moyna Rue and Betty Jenkins saw our President Betty come out on top of Moyna in this instance.

Congratulations to all our winners, let’s hope you can go on to bigger events in your future matches.

We had one game of social bowls between Di Mooney and J Messenger.

Last Saturday a Club match was played between Colleen Crump and Di Mooney – the Rose Bowl Singles – the winner out of this handicap event was Di Mooney.
