We held our annual Christmas Party and Presentation Day on Tuesday December 6.
President Moyna Rue presented Merle Robinson, Flo Nash and Merlene Byrnes with Life Members Badges and Merle Robinson, Flo Nash, Merlene Byrnes and Shirley Robson with Patrons Badges.
Merle Robinson was also presented with a 100 Badge.
Betty Hodge was presented with a State Merit Badge as she was not able to be at our 70th Birthday Celebrations when the “G” and “H” representative Rosalie Woods presented other State Merit Badges.
After the beautiful lunch supplied by our lady bowlers the Championship and Competition Trophies were presented:

The beautiful Christmas cake made and decorated by Merlene Byrnes was cut by Life Member/Patron Merle Robinson.
Santa (Joy Beattie) then presented all present with a Christmas Gift.
The raffle, a Christmas Cake, was won by Betty Hodge.
President Moyna thanked all the ladies for the beautiful food supplied for the lunch.
Our members wish to thank the Canowindra Community Bowling and Recreation Club board members for their interest and cooperation during the year and also the very friendly and capable bar staff.
We also wish to thank the Greenkeeper Richard Waugh for having great greens for us to play on each week during the year and finally the Canowindra News for printing our bowls news each week.
A very happy birthday to Betty Hodge on December 2, Christine Pickard on December 14, Margaret Gosper on December 18 and Flo Nash on December 22.
