Robert Grant, Bruce Byrnes, Gordon Traves and David Ridges have taken out the Minor Fours title for 2007 by defeating Ken Perry, John Davis, Peter Cassidy and Gavin Fynan 26 to 15.

From the way this game got underway this was going to be a great contest. On the seventh end David's team held a narrow lead six shots to five the next four ends was just as tight with David's team still holding that slender lead 11 shots to eight.

Things changed in the next five ends which saw the score was blown out to 25 to nine with five ends remaining it was a big task fro Gavin's team to peg them back only to score a further six shot to finish the match.

Also on Saturday there was a match between Terry Hayden and Terry Mooney up against Don Wilkin and Phil Jones in the O'Brien Cup Handicap Pairs.

Before the match Hayden and Mooney had ten shots to start with as this match got underway Hayden and Mooney held their game plan together.

Keeping Wilkin and Jones out of reach to take the match 25 to 14.

Vince Mirto and Ron Lynch defeated Peter Sargent and David Ridge 24 to 18. After Mirto and Lynch where trailing 15 to ten.
