We had a roll up of 16 bowlers for our first day back this year.
We played two games of pairs and two games of three bowl pairs.
Gwen Haydon and Colleen Crump defeated Christine Pickard and Heather Hoad 29 to 14.
Dianne Mooney and Shirley Robson defeated Margaret Gosper and Moyna Rue 23 to nine.
Bobby Turner and Ellen Petty defeated Radka Tatterson and Diane Slattery 31 to 13.
Linda Miller and Libby Balcombe defeated Jean Roth and Nancy Morrow 23 to 13.
The Lucky Draw was won by Shirley Robson with number eight.
Marion Wilson, Rose Veal, Sandy McDonald and Daph Bryant reported a very enjoyable day at the South West District President’s Day held at Young on January 17.
The draw for the Major Singles, Minor Singles and Nominated Pairs has been done by the match committee which will commence on Tuesday January 31.
Each Thursday Pennant practice will be held beginning at 8.30am, except for Australia Day on January 26, when the practice will be changed to Wednesday January 25.
