Last Saturday only one match was played, the O'Brien Cup Pairs Fuxx Thompson and Kevin Walker took on Ian Nelder and Bruce Byrnes.

In the first 5 ends Fuzz and Walker raced to a hand 12 to 1 lead then after Ian and Bruce had a team talk.

Both players combined together playing good bowls and found themselves within 2 shots, trailing 17-15 on the 14th end.

The next 7 ends were very tight both teams giving away 6 shots a piece, leaving with Fuzz and Walker the victors. Final score 23-21.
