Canowindra Services went down to Cowra Services last Saturday.

Canowindra won the toss and sent Cowra in to bat on a soft wicket.

They started off well, getting M Crawley in the first over for a duck and M Berry (11) in the fifth over.

Canowindra Services had Cowra in trouble at 3 for 16.

R Graham came to the crease and saved Cowra, scoring 103, not out - he was well supported by M Sheehy 24 not out.

Canowindra ServicesChr(39) fielding dropped off and we missed R Graham early and paid the price.

Cowra went on to score 170.

After probably our worst fielding performance for the year, our batting didnChr(39)t get any better.

The pitch wasnChr(39)t easy to play on but we made their bowling attack look very good.

Canowindra were dismissed for their lowest score this season for 45.

Any team can have a bad day, and we had it.

There were a lot of low scores on the weekend, itChr(39)s just we let a batsman have too many choices and paid the price.

Craig Earsman bowled really well, taking 3 for 26.

Other wicket takers were D Krapp 1 for 37 and T Kennedy 1 for 24.

The only batsman to reach double figures was B Traves on 12.

Anyway, fellas, we have a bye this week so party hard and the last two weeks weChr(39)ll play the way we know we can and put some runs on the board and finish the competition on a good note, and if we make the semi-final we will go from there.

LetChr(39)s all get to training this week, for both grades.

Second grade team tp play Imperial at Mulyan - A Marr, P Marr, M OChr(39)Malveney, P Traves, W Rue, I Morrow, Pkennedy, C Carpenter, M Noble, Q Carpenter, A Pull. Reserves are G Mulligan, P Kelly, G Walker and T Fisher.
