Chris Williams Under 8's
What a magnificent game by the little Tigers play this game so hard against the mighty Condo team. Callum's legs took him to a great high scoring 4 great tries. Nathan scored and converted a well deserved try. Wesley Blair also kicked a super goal. Miles was on fire making great tackles and runs. Jack, Jai, and Max all made some speedy runs. Will and Jake were great in defence, helping to keep Condo at bay. Sam and Shae had good games both in attacking plays and some strong defence. A super effort by the tigers, they matched up to one of the top aggressive teams, well done boys. Final score tigers 24 - Condo 22.
Canowindra Ex Services Club Under 10's
Who are we in the black and gold? Canowindra Services Club under 10's. The first kick of the game was by Rohan Toole. Bradyn Cassidy quickly went over to score his first try of the day which he successfully converted. Bradyn once again going over to score his second try which Alex Willson successfully converted. A lost ball by Condo was quickly picked up by Joshua Trayhurn who went over to Canowindra's third try which Rohan successfully converted. Condo went over to score their first try of the day which was successfully converted. Kick off by Alex which Bradyn picked up going over to score his third try of the day which Bailey successfully converted. Condo going over to score their second try of the day which was successfully converted. Alex going over for Canowindras fifth try which Talby Upton successfully converted. Half time score being Tigers 30 - Condo 12. The game was full of action on Saturday with Tyler Reid having an outstanding game in defence and attack. Zac Whitehead and Dan Friend also having a great game in defence. Louis O'Keefe making ground in attack. Sam McKenzie having some good tackles throughout the game and Warren Ackroyd trying hard all game. There was a try saving tackle by Warren and Talby early in the second half. Talby going over to score a try which Josh successfully converted. Bradyn went over to score his forth try of the day which Tyler successfully converted. Bailey going over the try line to score our final try of the day which Dan successfully converted. Congratulations boys. It was great to watch and pleasing that ever conversion was successful after last weekend when 5 of the 7 goals were missed. It also must be noted that the team played with only two reserves as Jumara Cutmore, Harry Whatman and Tara Jenkins were absent due to illness and family commitments. Go Tigers Go. Canowindra Hotels Under 11's
With a few players absent this week the boys found it hard to keep up with the quick and experienced Condo side. The only points scored came from a hard run in try from Jayden Brown who had a excellent game. Simon converted this try to take the only points to 6. Bradyn came close to the line but had no success. Michael, Tim and Makk made some great tackles. Zac and Kurt played well in support. Bailey and Alex played hard all game in all areas. Keep trying hard boys. Final score Condo 26 - Tigers 6.
Earsmans Concrete Under 12's
The first half of this game was a bit of a blur with Condo running the ball over the line within the first 5 min. The tigers were then on the defensive and Condo used their speed and agility to run over the top of the boys. Tigers came back in the second half to keep Condo from putting to many points on the board. We witnessed some great tackling by Nick W, Nick T, Simon, Michael C and Blake W. Jack B is improving. Jamie, Tim, Kye, Kurt, and Hayden gave it their best shot. Troy, Harry, Jack K, and Kain all made some much needed ground. Keeping the gaps closed the boys slowed Condo. Jayden Brown scored a superb try with Matty kicking the conversion. Condo played a great game and will be hard for any team to beat, congratulations boys in a good effort. Final score Cond 32 - Tigers 4.
Canowindra Produce Under 14's
In a spirited and gutsy display the boys went down fighting to the undefeated Condobolin side. Being under strength due to players on Rep duty or illness, the young tigers were gallant in defeat. Although disappointed to lose it was a whole hearted effort from every player and they should be proud of this. The boys tried hard, maybe a little too hard because at times they were a little rushed with small handling errors creeping in at crucial periods. We just need to maintain our composure, stick to our game plan, do all the little things right, have a bit of luck for our way and we will win our games. Heads up fella's there is no shame in losing when you put in the effort that you showed last Saturday !!! Players player was Tom Roth. The final score Condobolin 36 Tigers 26.
Kitome Under 16's
The Tigers kicked off strong with a try to Cho within the first 10 minutes which was then converted by Aaron Woolley. Following shortly after was our second try by Jacob Hodge with some great passes by Cho and Kain. It was then the chip kick by Piggy that allowed the speedster Haydon Hodge to secure yet another 4 points for the tigers which was once again by Aaron W. Canowindra were making some great tackles and great attacking play. Condobolin had several attempts to cross the try line however the Tigers defence was too strong in the first half with the halftime score = 16 - 0. In the second half Condo pulled up their socks and ran in several quick tries bringing the score up to 16 -12. A great pass from Ronny out to Aaron W saw him run the line out on the wing subsequently scoring and converting his own try. What a great team effort and an even greater result. The Final score Tigers 22 - 18 Condobolin.
