This has obviously not happened over night so to everyone who has promoted rugby in Canowindra in the past you should give yourself a pat on the back as we are just now starting to see the results.

2006, while not the most successful year on the field, saw successes in different ways - a trebling in player numbers, the dedication of the 1st graders and the under 19s, the community support and interest, high membership numbers and so on, and all this can only make for a more positive and fruitful season in 2007.

There are a lot of people to be thanked so I will start with the committee. Thank you all for your support this year all your help has been appreciated immensely, the players who turn up on time to help out around the grounds you have really made life a lot easier, and especially the sponsors as without you this year just would not have been possible so I would like to name all of you.

The Canowindra Rugby Club Inc will be holding our AGM at the clubhouse on 2 September 2006 at 12:30pm (lunchtime). We would like anyone interested in helping in any way shape or form to please attend.

We are really looking to build up a Strong committee base this year so as to have a more efficient club in 2007. There are a multiple of openings available so you can choose your level of involvement from as much to as Little as you like and you don't have to be a player to be involved in the sport of rugby in 2007.
