Monday saw our last comp night for 2007, lots of close games were had and these are some of the scores: Tina Earsman won to Helen Mcspadden 46 to 39 with some really good rallies.
Helen McSpadden lined up again against Helen T with a close one, Helen M winning 56 to 53.
Amber Meurs winning to Sandy McDonald 68 to 55 and Janet Simpson winning to Lois Jeffress 61 to 54 and Hella winning to Bev Taylor 54 to 47.
One thing was a certain there were a lot of red faces and laughs which is something that has run through the whole year.
Everyone finished off with nibbles and a chat.
I would like to wish all the ladies a very safe and happy Christmas and I will be keen to see you all back next year for our first comp night on Monday 4th February.
PRESENTATION TO ROHAN
Canowindra Squash Club presented Rohan Toole with $250 to help with travel and competition fees.
We would like to wish Rohan another prosperous year with his squash in 2008.
All members and their families are reminded that our Christmas Party is this Thursday evening at the squash courts while Thursday mixed comp have their last games. So everyone bring a plate and arrive around 6pm.
Social squash for any members that are interested will run over the school holidays on Wednesday evenings starting at 6.30pm, the first night will be Wednesday January 9.
Any new people wishing to join squash for the first time or that just haven't played for a while can ring Helen McSpadden on 63 447119 or Sandy McDonald on 63 441776 to get your names in for our next comp Monday night starting Monday February 4 and Thursday night February 7.
A draw will be in the paper the week before to specify play times.
