Thirty bowlers turn up for Barry Heaslip's bowls day

30 bowlers turned up to support Barry Heaslip's Bowls Day.

Everybody enjoyed the day especially our non-bowlers who found out how much fun you can have playing this game.

The Club would like to thank Barry for sponsoring this day and also hope to his support next year.

The winners on the day went to Vince Mirto and Ron Lynch. Runners up Nancy Morrow and Peter Heaslip.

Last Sunday Ian Messenger played Terry Hayden in Consistency Singles.

Ian went on to win 154 to 136 for Terry it was his first ever competition.

Great Effort!

On Saturday David Beath travelled to Cowra to play Gerard Beath in the final of the District Singles.

The score card has been lost somewhere – but it was a victory to Gerard Beath.
