Junior sides at home to Forbes Magpies

Under 8s

Chris Williams Under 8s took to the field on Saturday in a home game against Forbes Magpies.

Playing with a lot of missing team members didnt deter the Tigers at all as they went on a try scoring rampage.

Some great runs from Jack Defreitas, Jake Haywood, Eli Reid, Harrison Warn and Isaac Trainor were seen throughout the game.

Playing some excellent defence was Lachlan Warn, Will Ellis, Michael Coady and Savannah Trainor.

Working hard in attack and defence throughout the game was the bigger boys Max Coady, Codie Reid and Cody Kelso.

Try scorers for the game were Cody Kelso who ran in an impressive five tries and Max Coady who scored 1.

Conversions were kicked by Cody Kelso, Isaac Trainor, Codie Reid.

The final score for the game was Tigers 22 Magpies 6.

Under 10s

An exciting game to watch as the under 10s Tigers played In a game that went try for try until right at the end when the Tigers managed to get in front.

The entire team played a great game,and the way they worked together as a team was rather impressive.

Try scorers for the game were Shae Reid and Angue Fisher with 1 try each and running in 2 tries each were Joe Coady and Aiden Kelso.

Conversions were kicked by Shae Reid, Angus Fisher and Jacob Nash.

The final score was Tigers 30 Magpies 18

Under 12s

There was no doubting the Magpies were here to win a game as they came out fighting right from the kick off.

The boys were working hard in a game that was fast and furious.

Forbes managed to run in 3 tries and convert them all in the first half.

Which put Tigers in a difficult position going into the second half unfortunately a come back wasnt to be and the Tigers were defeated 34-4.

Try scorer for Tigers was Callum Clyburn.

Under 14s

Being the first home game since the tragic loss of Tiger Player Josh Donelly a minute silence was held before kick off.

The game then got off to a bit of a slow start but once the boys had warmed up the tries starting coming one after another, with the Tigers running in three tries in the first half and six in the second half.

Josh Treyhurn ran in three tries, Alex Wilson two tries,Tim Middleton one try and Bailey Cain three tries.

Tim Middleton also kicked an impressive six conversions

The finals score for the game was Tigers 48-12

A big thankyou goes out to Callum Clyburn, Sam Willson, Will Middleton, Thomas Coolwell for backing up after their game.
