Under 8s.
As the parents stood on the side lines in freezing cold rainy weather the under 8s were led onto the field by this week’s captain Savannah Trainor.
Unlike the parents they were all full of excitement to be playing in their first real wet game of the season.
With some fantastic runs coming from Max Coady right off the whistle it wasn’t long before Cody Kelso ran the ball over the try line.
Unfortunately Issac Trainor’s kicked didn’t quite make it over.
Dylan Slattery, Lachlan Warn and Michael Coady also made some great runs in the first third.
Max Coady, Codie Reid and Cody Kelso were all making some great tackles.

Great defence work seen from Jacob Nash, Shae Reid, Andrew Cutmore and Austin Pengilly saw Trundle kept scoreless for the entire first half. While Tigers Joe Coady scored one try and Aiden Kelso ran in two tries with one converted by Angus Fisher.
This gave the boys a great advantage going into the second half.

Under 12s
As the boys took to the field the conditions hadn’t improved at all but the Tiger boys were ready and eager to play.
Kevin Beath, Callum Cyburn, Nathan Whatman, Sam Willson and Max Wensley all played well in both attack and defence throughout the game.
It was Callum Clyburn who ran the first try over the line which was not converted.
Some great attack was also seen by Will Middleton, Jordan Kemper, Blake Cramer and Conner Donelly.
With Thomas Coolwell, Chris Pace Will Fagan and Mathew Harrison all working hard in defence.
The second try of the game was scored by Thomas Coolwell but was not converted.
As the end of the game was nearing and Trundle were leading 12 to 8 it seemed that Tigers may have been beaten but with just minutes to go an off load from Chris Pace gave Blake Cramer the perfect opportunity to score a try, which took the score to 12 all.
A converted try would have put us in front but unfortunately it wasn’t to be and at the final siren the score was locked at 12 each.
