Meet the coach day for rugby club at the oval

31 Jan, 2007 07:40 AM
With the rugby season not far away the club has already kicked the season off with a 'meet the coach' day at the oval on Saturday, which was well attended.

The boys enjoyed a game of cricket and a BBQ afterwards.

Thanks to all the boys that showed up and hope that you had a good ay.

The official training will commence on Tuesday February 6, so all interested in playing rugby this year are urged to come along.

This promises to be a big year for the Pythons.

The social season is going to have an early start this year with a family barbeque on February 10.

There will be plenty of activities for the little and the big kids to enjoy throughout the afternoon.

The day will start at 4.30pm and will go through to about 10pm.

The activities include face painting, jumping castle, tug of war and plenty more including two clowns to set the mood for the day.

All are definitely welcome to attend and have some fun.

An RSVP to Susan on 6344 1400 would be appreciated but is not necessary.

Players that can come along and lend a hand on the day would also be very welcome.

We are hoping for a large supporter base this year, getting everyone to come to home games and to most away games as well.

After training on Tuesday February 6 at the clubhouse at 7.30pm, all welcome.
