The Super 14 has started, NRL has started and the AFL has started. Now is time for the one you have been waiting for. The Pythons Junior Rugby is on. Feel like playing footy with your mates and meeting new ones? Can’t make a commitment to playing sport every weekend but enjoy having a run when you can?
Then join us for the Canowindra Junior Rugby registration day at The Oval, 5.30pm on Friday 4th April. Rego fees for this year are only $10 for the whole season. There will be a barbie and bit of a kick around as well so bring some sports or footy gear.
Age groups for this year will be U7s, U9s, U11s and U12s. The games are played every couple of weeks or so in a “Gala” day format, with all teams playing three short games against other clubs. These are usually over by lunchtime and are great fun for the players and families. All games are played on a Sunday so they won’t interfere with Saturday sports.
The emphasis is on fun and safety with the lower age group playing a modified touch and where coaches are involved on field up to U11’s.
