Under 7 Pythons hit the road

28 May, 2008 09:18 AM
On Sunday the mighty U7”s hit the road and travelled to Molong, our first game was against Kinross with a 5 all draw.

A much improved Canowindra side even being commented on by the opposition coach. Kinross had a much bigger side which put the fear through a couple of our guys, great determination from Canowindra not to be out done.

The second game against Orange City saw a similar match with Sky Robson and Lydia Fagan playing their third game in a row, great effort girls.

Good hard running from Sam Coady, Jessy Fliedner, Max Coady, Sky Robson and Lydia Fagan keeping Orange City on the back foot.

Defence is the key to any game of football and this was displayed at the highest level by Sienna O’Dea and Claire Wright.

The final game against Parkes was a steady effort as the young guns were getting tiered.

Great dummy half work from Tom Mitchell, I think we have found ourselves a little halfback for the future. A 30 metre run up the sideline from Finbar Smyth to get him self over the line for a great try. A new player off the bench Angus Clarke had a great first game, congratulations to all those who played a very good effort and a great improvement from two weeks ago.
