Canowindra swimmers Hayden Hodge and Andrew Newham were among the medal winners in the Country Regional meet held at the Cowra Aquatic Centre on Saturday and Sunday.
Competing against some of the best swimmers in NSW the Canowindra swimmers acquitted themselves well with Andrew taking home three gold medals.
The Cowra and Canowindra medal winners included:
Haydon Hodge - (15yrs and over) - 50 metre freestyle silver, 50 metres backstroke bronze.
Andrew Newman (15yrs and over) - 50 metres freestyle silver, 50 metres backstroke silver, 100 metres butterfly gold, 100 metres freestyle gold, 50 metres butterfly gold.
Kylie Rush (15yrs and over) - 50 metres freestyle gold, 50 metres butterfly silver, 100 metres butterfly silver, 100m metres freestyle bronze, 100 metres backstroke bronze.
Cameron Leal (14yrs) – 50 metres freestyle gold, 50 metres breaststroke gold, 100m breaststroke gold.
Georgia Davidson – 100 metres breaststroke silver.
Bart Dunn (15yrs) – 50 metres breaststroke gold, 100 metres breaststroke bronze, 200 metres breaststroke bronze.
Claire Allan (14yrs) – 50 metres backstroke bronze, 200 metres IM bronze, 50 metres butterfly bronze.
Ben Watt (11yrs) – 100 metres backstroke silver, 50 metres backstroke bronze, 100 metres butterfly bronze, 200 metres IM bronze.
Seamus Leyland (12yrs) – 50 metres backstroke silver.
Tim Gillham – 100 metres backstroke bronze.

This weekend the focus is on the Speedo Sprint series which will be held at the Cowra Aquatic Centre from 10am on Saturday.
